CORPORATE HISTORY

Shiotani Glass started manufacturing pharmaceutical ampoules in 1930, early Showa period, when the Japanese economy finally found a footing in reviving from earthquake and Great Depression. Since then, we have widened the product types including vials, cartridges, and syringes, while developing manufacturing systems on our own. Above all, vials and cartridges have achieved the highest level of production volume in the country. Generations of engineers devoted all their energy and passed on their techniques to the next generation. That is still going on today.
